Departing from Picton, the one hour journey by stylish catamaran is one of the highlights of the outing. The Marlborough Sounds are an eco-marine haven, boasting dolphins, seals, gannets and penguins in this tranquil world of sheltered coves. Step ashore in the footsteps of Captain Cook for our most popular day walk. Through magnificent virgin forest you will emerge at the ridgeline to breathtaking views of Cook Strait and resolution bay then a gradual descent leads to the sheltered waters of Endeavour Inlet.
