Stafford Villa, a heritage listed, colonial villa which has been a family home for over 100 years is situated in the genteel, historic village of Birkenhead Point across the sea from downtown Auckland, and is owned and hosted by New Zealanders, Chris and Mark Windram.
Whether you are looking for accommodation for a special occasion, wedding, honeymoon, golf, wine tasting or a leisurely few days away from the hustle and bustle, at Stafford Villa you will find a place of colonial history where the past and present are delightfully blended. All the guestrooms are exquisitely furnished, have king beds and offer all the little extras to make sure your stay is one to remember.
Leave time in the mornings to enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Chris prides herself on her five-course, gourmet breakfast which changes daily and utilises herbs and spinach from the garden, free range eggs and seasonal fruit and vegetables. Chris makes all her own jams, marmalades, muesli and granola and will whip up a traditional cooked breakfast including delicious sausages from the local butcher.
