Dining at the lodge is a delight with dishes crafted by resident chef, Demian Che Dunlop, from fresh ingredients, some harvested from our gardens and others sourced from local producers, enabling guests to savour the flavours of the region.
In August 2006 the lodge won a Silver Medal for a venison dish, prepared exactly as it is served in the lodge. Our venison is locally shot and represents the finest of New Zealand meat and is always well received by our guests as are all our dishes.
